Historic Preservation Commission (HPC)

The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is a ten-person board which typically meets on the second Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers. Please view the HPC Meeting Calendar for exact meeting dates. The HPC hears and makes determinations on Certificate of Appropriateness requests. These requests must be approved in order for changes to be made to a property located within one of Dothan's three historic districts.
