    Water World Private Parties can be held on available Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the season beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The cost is $1,500 per hour with a minimum of two hours and a maximum of three hours for up to 400 people. Full payment is required in order to book your party, and payment can be made with a credit card online once your party date is approved.   3. Tube Rental

    Tube Rental will be open for your guests to rent optional wave pool tubes at their expense at a cost of $5/tube.  If the renter wants to cover the cost of tubes, they are $3/each.  

    *Please note that we provide tubes for the Great White Water Slide free of charge.  

  4. Food & Beverage Options

    You have lots of choices depending on your needs!  You can have the party privately catered, you can provide your own food and drinks, or Water World can provide the food for your party.

    The Sweet Shack will remain open for your guests to purchase menu items at no additional charge to you.

    The Surf's Up Snack Shack can be opened for your private party guests for $100.   All menu items and prices are listed.  If you are pre-ordering food, the fees to open the food areas are waived.  Catering discounts are applied based on number of pre-orders.

  7. Terms and Conditions
    1. To pay the City on demand rental fees and other additional fees as stipulated in this document for the rental area, services, and materials, plus a reasonable attorney’s fee if turned over by the City to an attorney for collection.
    2. To care for and keep rental area clean.
    3. To return the area in the same condition as it was, ordinary use and wear accepted.
    4. To pay for any damages to rental area or any portion thereof.
    5. To abide by all rules and regulations as set forth by the federal, state, or city ordinances and should any violation occur, the lessee will immediately stop and correct the violations.
    6. That no controlled substances, beer, wine, or liquors of any kind may be sold, given away, or used on the premises of rental area in violation of law or city regulations.
    7. The rental area is not to be used for a performance, exhibition or entertainment to which the city objects.
    8. The city reserves the right through its representatives to eject any objectionable person or persons from the building or area.
    9. The lessee shall not assign nor sublet this contract nor the rental area or any part of it without the consent of the city in writing.
    10. Lessee shall indemnify and hold the city harmless from all loss, cost and expense arising out of any liability, or claim of liability, for injury or damages to persons or property sustained or claimed to have been sustained by reason of the use of the facilities and premises whether such use is authorized or not, or by any act or omission by lessee or any of its officers, agents, employees, guests, patrons, or invitees and, also, the lessee shall pay for any and all damages to the property of the city, or loss or theft of such property, done or cause by such persons.
    11. The city shall not be responsible for any damage or injury that may happen to the lessee, or to lessee’s agents, servants, employees or property from any cause whatsoever, prior, during, or subsequent to the period covered by this lease.
    12. All terms and conditions shall be binding and cannot be varied or waived.
  8. Private Party Rental Policies
    1. Tentative reservations can be made by completing this form. All reservations are tentative until payment is received.  Payment must be received no later than three weeks prior to the party date.  Reservations after this time will be cancelled.
    2. Setting up equipment, food, etc., must be done within the private party time window, beginning at 5:30.
    3. All guests must leave Water World and all equipment and food must be removed by the closing time.  
    4. Individuals must be 21 years of age or older to reserve Water World.
    5. Groups must have an adequate number of chaperones.
    6. No person or group will be permitted to bring, use, or serve alcoholic beverages in Water World or on Westgate Park Property (this includes parking lot).
    7. Rental groups may not sell concessions at private parties. 
    8. Any equipment that is brought into Water World must be approved ahead of time and noted on the rental agreement.  This includes grills, food or drink, machines, games, etc. No automobiles are allowed in the park when customers are present. 
    9. No amplified music may be played other than the Water World radio station (Splash Radio).
    10. Guests who leave the party will not be re-admitted. 
    11. Rental groups will be responsible for cleaning up any excessive littering or food left on premises.     
    12. Tickets may not be sold for profit for a private party.
    13. Individuals or organizations may not profit from Water World Private Parties.
    14. No rental group shall invite the general public to a private party.
    15. Water World strongly discourages social media promotion of private party events, unless it is clearly advertised as a party for a specific group of people involved with your organization (eg. employees, congregations, civic groups, customer appreciation, etc). 

    RULES:  Please make these rules known to all participants.  They will be enforced.

    1. Swimsuits only – No cut-offs or shorts with buttons, zippers, or studs will be allowed in pools or on slides.
    2. Park cabanas are not available during private parties.  These areas will be roped off.
    3. Inflatable or Styrofoam objects will not be allowed. Coast Guard approved lifejackets only are permitted.
    4. Children must be at least 42” tall to go down Great White, and at least 48” to go down the four body slides.  
    5. All children in diapers must wear water diapers with a swimsuit or covering over it when using pool facilities.
    6. Smoking & vaping is allowed in designated area only in the back picnic area.
  9. Inclement Weather

    In case of inclement weather forecasted for your party times, a manager will contact you to discuss your options.  We allow each party to decide how to proceed:

    1. Cancel the party and get a full refund.
    2. Cancel the party and re-schedule (if dates are available).
    3. Hold the party despite possible inclement weather.  Park staff will make every effort to keep all attractions operating, but if lightning is in the immediate area we must temporarily shut down attractions for your safety.  Please note that once the party starts, no refunds can be issued.

    Be sure that this form includes a number to reach you outside of business hours (if necessary).
