What are the Subdivision Regulations?

The Subdivision Regulations are primarily concerned with the division of land, the quality of the improvements constructed on it, and the provision of adequate services to support it. The subdivision of land is one of the first steps in the development process and is a big concern because the public is the owner of the improvements and provider of the services. In most cases, the Planning Commission will determine if the minimum requirements (i.e., size of lot, proper access, etc.) are met before approving the subdivision.
