[ARCHIVED] FREE Alabama Residential Energy Code Training

Please join us on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 for the following FREE training session: "How to Achieve Compliance with Duct and Envelope Sealing Requirements." This four-hour session is designed for code officials, builders, site supervisors, HVAC contractors, insulation contractors and anyone responsible for complying with the Alabama Residential Energy Code. 

The training session will be held from 8:00AM – 12:00PM at the Dothan Civic Center in Classroom C located on the first floor. The first hour of the training will be a quick review of code requirements and the last three hours will be devoted to hands on detailed best practices for meeting code requirements, including duct and envelope sealing. To register, please visit www.ALenergycode.org.

About the Training: As part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s funded Residential Energy Code Field Study, Calhoun Community College is offering free statewide training on Alabama’s Residential Energy Code. The trainings are provided in coordination with ADECA, the Institute for Market Transformation, and IBTS.
