The City of Dothan and Troy University would like to invite the public to attend their joint press conference announcing the impending release of a citywide quality of life survey. The press conference will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers (located on the 2nd floor of the Roy Driggers Municipal Building/Dothan Civic Center).
Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz, Police Chief Steve Parrish and Dothan Community Relations Group President Precious Freeman will be joined by Troy University sociology professors Dr. Christopher Bradley and Dr. Jeneve Brooks to discuss the survey, which will focus on Dothan residents’ perceptions of quality of life, race relations in the Dothan community and community policing by the Dothan Police Department.
The survey is scheduled to be released on March 13, 2017.
