[ARCHIVED] Public Meeting with the Alabama Energy and Residential Codes Board

On Tuesday June 28, 2016, a public meeting will be held regarding the intended action to repeal and replace rule 305-2-4-.09 of the “Residential Building and Energy Code,” and to replace it with the provisions of the most recently adopted Alabama Residential Building Code. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Board Room located on the 2nd floor of the Dothan Civic Center.

Providing details of the proposed action will be guest speaker, Heather Goggin from the Energy Division at the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). ADECA is an umbrella agency under the Alabama Energy and Residential Codes Board.

The meeting is sponsored by Building Inspections, a Division of Dothan’s Department of Planning and Development. Comments and questions are welcomed during the meeting. For more information, please contact Craig Scurlock at (334) 615-4450.
