[ARCHIVED] Sanitation Collection Schedule For Christmas Holiday

In observance of the Christmas Holidays, the City of Dothan will be closed on Thursday, December 24, 2015 and Friday, December 25, 2015. Therefore, the following schedule will apply to City of Dothan sanitation customers:

Thursday residents will receive garbage (automated green cart) and recycling collection on their regularly scheduled day on December 24, 2014. However, Friday residents will receive garbage and recycling collection earlier in the week on Wednesday, December 23, 2015.

There will be no trash (leaves, limbs, junk, etc.) collection for Thursday or Friday, and there is no make-up day for trash.

If you have any questions, the Environmental Services Division can be contacted at 615-3820 Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please remember to place all garbage, recycling, and trash by the curb prior to 6:00 a.m. on the day of your pick-up. Thank you!
