[ARCHIVED] Commissioner Kevin Dorsey Sponsors “Clean-Up The Community” Event

District 1 Commissioner Kevin Dorsey would like to invite the public to attend his “Clean-Up The Community” event on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Headland Avenue. Whether it is trash, litter, or drugs, Commissioner Dorsey believes that we can clean-up our communities by joining hands and working towards a common goal.

The event will start at the corner of East Powell Street and Headland Avenue and it will end at the intersection of Headland Avenue and Reeves Street. The City of Dothan’s garbage trucks, Police Department, and Animal Control Unit officers will be on hand to assist in the efforts.

Participants will be served FREE barbeque at the start of the event and fish and oysters at the end! For more information, please call Sarah Woodham, Executive Assistant to the Mayor and Commission, at (334) 615-3111.
