[ARCHIVED] Register for the Third Annual Economic Summit on Jobs

The City of Dothan, Houston County and the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce are joining forces again to host the Third Annual Economic Summit on Jobs. This event will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Dothan Civic Center. The Summit is designed to be an annual event cultivating and nurturing the characteristics that will bring economic success to our residents and businesses.

Successful economic development is a community-wide effort. In order to create the jobs necessary to continue moving this community forward, the Summit will focus on seven categories: aviation, business incentives, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, medical & healthcare, quality of life, and workforce development. Whether you are currently a member of a group or you are new to this process, we ask that you register for one of these breakout session categories.

Each breakout session will have a facilitator who will work with the group to establish a goal and an action plan to accomplish that goal during the next twelve months. This philosophy dictates that as many residents as possible be engaged in this activity. There will be no cost to participate and everyone is encouraged to register and be part of this challenging and exciting Summit. The keynote speaker for the event is Raymond Cheng, CEO of the SoZo Group and founder of the Alabama China Partnership.

This is a community effort and success is dependent upon participants who are willing to work towards a common goal. Please join us for this truly exciting event! For more information or to register online, please visit our website at www.economicsummitonjobs.com
