Eligible non-profit organizations seeking funds to operate social service programs benefiting Dothan residents may apply to the PY 2026 Competitive Funding Process. Last year, the City of Dothan provided over $492,000 in social service funds in support of over 19 local agencies, programs, and City departments.
Applicants must attend one of two Mandatory Application Trainings that will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2 pm and Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11 am at the Dothan Houston County Library, 445 N. Oates Street, Dothan, AL 36303.
Participants do not need to register for the Application Training; however, they must sign in to receive credit for attending. Additional one-on-one technical assistance will be provided to applicants as needed.
