[ARCHIVED] Sanitation Pick-Up Schedule For Independence Day Holiday

In observance of the Independence Day holiday, the City of Dothan offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2014. There will be no pick-up for garbage (automated green cart), recycling, or trash (leaves, limbs, junk, etc). The make-up day for garbage and recycling collection is scheduled for earlier in the week on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. There is no make-up day for trash. Normal collections will resume after the Independence Day holiday.

Also on Friday, the City Landfill will be closed. The landfill will reopen on Monday, July 7, 2014. Please remember to place all garbage, recycling and trash by the curb prior to 6:00 a.m. on the day of your pick up. If you have any questions, the Environmental Services Division can be contacted at 615-3820 on Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
