About Commissioner Craig

A resident of Dothan for 30 years, District 4 City Commissioner John Craig attended schools through high school in Birmingham and later graduated from Samford University (Howard College) with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management.

Commissioner Craig is a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He served in senior management of Hayes International, Air International and Atlantic Aviation Corporation.   Commissioner Craig is a Gideon in the Dothan South Camp and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

He enjoys volunteering with Senior World International at Troy University Dothan Campus.  The District 4 Commissioner is married to wife, Betty, and father to six children and nine grandchildren.

Commissioner Craig's current term expires in October 2011.
