Call your insurance company as soon as possible after the crash. The law requires that you file an SR-13 Form with the State of Alabama within 30 days of the accident. If you do not file this form within 30 days, your driver's license will be suspended until the form is filed. You may obtain blank SR-13 forms at the Dothan Police Department at 210 N. St. Andrews Street.

If the Dothan Police Department ordered your vehicle towed, you must fill out a release form and turn it in before you can retrieve your vehicle. You will need to bring proof of ownership and a current driver's license or other picture identification to the 24 hour entrance at the Dothan City Jail on the Troy Street side of the Police Department.
