The Dothan Civic Center Arena
The Dothan Civic Center offers flexible meeting and exhibit space to accommodate your convention and meeting requirements.

The arena can hold over 3,100 people with both theater and floor seating available. The 10, 800 sq. ft. arena floor is also ideal for large banquet or trade show exhibits. The spacious 50 ft. stage is the perfect setting for anything, from a keynote speaker to a full stage production. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, our professional technicians are available to assist you in achieving the right setting for a successful event.

The Civic Center also has four additional designated meeting rooms with classroom seating to accommodate 24 to 64 people and theater-style seating that will seat 60 - 100 people.

Commercial & Convention Rate - $1000
or 10% of the gross sales, after taxes, whichever is greater. A rental day is considered 8 a.m. - 12 midnight. ALL PROPERTIES, DECORATIONS, ETC. MUST BE REMOVED THE DAY OF SHOW OR ANOTHER DAY'S RENT WILL BE CHARGED.

Move-In, Move-Out, Rehearsal (Per Day) - $800
When move-in, move-out, or rehearsal occurs other than on the day of performance, lessee shall be charged at a lesser rate than the regular rental rate.

Deposit for Rental
A non-refundable up-front deposit for rental shall be one day's rent, plus box office charge and ticket printing charges, if applicable and must be paid prior to the event. A telephone call or preferably a letter of request and this deposit are required to secure a booking. Deposit must be in the form of cash or a cashier's check made payable to the Dothan Civic Center and the deposit must accompany the signed contract along with the Certificate of Insurance.

Civic Rate (Sunday - Wednesday Only) per day - $800
Must be entirely local (Dothan, Alabama) and the sponsor must be a registered non-profit civic, religious, charitable, or educational organization. A 501c(3) form must be presented in order to be eligible for the civic rate, otherwise, the commercial rate will be charged. A rental day is considered 8 a.m. - 12 midnight. All properties, decorations, etc. must be removed the day of show or another day's rent will be charged.

Dothan Opera House
Built in 1915, the Dothan Opera House represents the elegance of turn-of-the-century southern life. Ideal for theater-style presentations, this 590-seat facility features floor and balcony levels with excellent acoustics, along with modern sound and lighting systems to offer you just the right setting for your function.

Additional rooms located in the Opera House include the Grand Ballroom long with a full kitchen facility perfect for smaller meetings and receptions.
