Public Hearing regarding the demolition and removal of unsafe structures.

Res. No._________Declaring certain properties which are overgrown with weeds, scrub, wild bushes, grass and other vegetable growth as injurious to the health, safety and welfare of the community as nuisances and calling for a public hearing to be held on the matter during the regularly scheduled commission meeting on October 1, 2019.

Res. No._________Awarding the bid, entering into a contract, and issuing a Notice to Proceed to Splashtacular for the Water World Slide Additions Project, in the amount of $585,000.00, and appropriating funds for said project.

Res. No._________Entering into an agreement with Barge Design Solutions, Inc. for professional engineering, architectural design and consultation services for the Water World Slide and Pool Expansion Project, for a not-to-exceed amount of $195,000.00, and appropriating funds for said services.

No._________Amending the agreement with Atkins North America, Inc. for professional consulting services and construction engineering and inspection of the water and sanitary sewer utility relocations for Project No. RPF-NHF-HPPF-0210(501), Additional Lanes on SR-210 Ross Clark Circle from Bauman Drive to North Cherokee Avenue, for a not to exceed amount of $91,500.00, which brings the total amended agreement amount to $358,021.00, and appropriating funds for said services.

Res. No._________Awarding the bid, entering into a contract, and issuing a Notice to Proceed and other related documents to L & K Contracting Company, Inc. for the City of Dothan Sewer Easement Clearing-2019, in the amount of $82,600.00.

Res. No._________Entering into an agreement with SCS Engineers for the Environmental Services Rate Study for a not to exceed amount of $24,960.00.

Res. No._________Renewing the contract with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama to provide and administer a Health Care Plan for City employees for a one-year period beginning October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

Res. No._________Renewing the contract with the Southern Alabama Regional Council on Aging (SARCOA) to receive funding from the Houston County Tobacco Tax Fund for senior citizen programs.

Res. No._________Entering into an agreement with the Southern Alabama Regional Council on Aging (SARCOA) to administer and operate the Nutrition/Transportation Program of Title III of the Older Americans Act.

Res. No._________Entering into an agreement with the State of Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs to accept payments from ADECA for eligible households under the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), for the period of October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

No._________Renewing the agreement with York Risk Services Group, Inc. to continue to provide claims administration services for the self-insured workers’ compensation program at a yearly cost of $46,350.00 for a period of one (1) year to commence on October 1, 2019, through September 30, 2020, to be extended through FY2021 if both parties are agreed.

Announcing that the expiration of term dates for Michael Jackson and Precious Freemen as Members of the Dothan Housing Authority are changed to June 30, 2021 and June 30, 2020, respectively, to fulfil the request by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in compliance with the State Code of Alabama that terms on the Board be staggered.
