Res. No.________Declaring certain properties which are overgrown with weeds, scrub, wild bushes, grass and other vegetative growth as injurious to the health, safety and welfare of the community as nuisances and calling for a public hearing to be held on the matter during the regularly scheduled commission meeting on September 15, 2020.

No.________Applying for and accepting a grant from the Alabama Forestry Commission in the amount of $80,178.00 to provide the City with resources needed to mitigate damage to the urban tree canopy as a result of Hurricane Michael in October, 2018 and entering into an agreement with the Alabama Forestry Commission to prepare a tree canopy assessment, revise the City’s tree ordinance, train staff and install trees at highly visible locations within the perimeter of the Ross Clark Circle; appropriating $80,178.00 for the grant and agreeing to matching funds in the amount of $26,726.00, a twenty percent (20%) match.

No.________Agreeing to provide to the Industrial Development Board of the City of Dothan, Alabama $200,000 upon request in four (4) annual payments in the amount of $50,000, starting September 30, 2021 and ending September 30, 2024 to meet obligations with the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority (AMEA) to facilitate Project GRI-APS in Dothan, Alabama.
