Commissioner Aristotle Kirkland
Dr. Aristotle Kirkland is a native of Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Northview High School in 1987 and played an integral role in the Cougars winning the 1985 Class 6A State Football Championship.
Dr. Kirkland received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and matriculated on to Alabama State University to receive a Master’s and Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Dr. Kirkland is an entrepreneur and a self-employed Physical Therapist who loves treating patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular problems as well as post-surgical procedure treatments. His main focus is concierge Physical Therapy that focuses on one-on-one patient care. Dr. Kirkland has played a vital role in mentoring and recruiting minority students into the profession of Physical Therapy as well as other healthcare careers.
Dr. Kirkland has four children: Portia, Nia, Aaiden, & Aristotle Jr. Dr. Kirkland’s personal mission is one of inspiring people to achieve personal success and well-being through a holistic approach with meaningful connections & engaging experiences. Dr. Kirkland has been a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. since 1988 and enjoys reading and personal development.
